FAQ
How long will it take to receive my order?
Please view our delivery policy here. Generally orders are sent either on the same day the order was placed, or the next day. If you choose Speed Services, and we are able to send the order before 12 noon, you could have the order by the following day. (provided of course it's not a Sunday.) Registered mail takes between 4 and 6 days to arrive.
 
My wife or girlfriend's birthday is .... Will I receive my order in time?
We make a special effort where such requests are made. If we feel that the order may not reach you in time we will advise you of this in advance.
 
Do you have a catalogue?
No. Our website is our catalogue, and the items we feature change all the time. It's simply impractical to also maintain a catalogue.
 
Do you offer wholesale?
If you are interested in acquiring our items for your own lingerie business, please contact us. We offer a discount on volume purchases (typically amounts exceeding R3000 per order).
 
Do you have a store I can visit to view the items and try them on?
Nope. All our business is conducted online.
 
Can you get me an orange bra with green polka dots in 37G? (Or any other item you don't see on the site)
We have access to vast selections of items. We generally stock what we feel is popular. We could probably find what you are looking for, but generally we find that by the time we have ordered the item, and received it, the customer is no longer interested. Our lingerie is almost exclusively sourced from overseas, and generally takes around a month to arrive. We also have to order minimum quantities. For this reason we generally don't entertain such requests, however, there's no harm in asking. If we receive several requests for a certain type of item we usually try to stock them in future. In this way we are guided by your preferences.
 
Do you have the item in size x ?
What you see on the site is exactly what we have in stock. We don't secretly hide certain sizes of items. If we did we would never sell them. If an item is not offered in a specific size, we either don't have that size in stock, or the item is not available in that size. By all means send us an email requesting your size... we will attempt to stock up on that size in future if it is available.
 
I placed an order, choosing Bank transfer as payment method. How long do I have to pay?
Please pay immediately. We will reserve the items you ordered for 24 hours. Thereafter, if someone else orders them, we will let them go, so you may find that we no longer have stock of what you ordered. Unfortunately a large percentage of orders where customers intend to pay by bank or internet transfer result in non-payment. We are unsure as to why, but based on experience we have found that generally if an order is not paid on the same day as the order was placed, it's not going to be paid at all.
 
Is there additional packaging cost?
No. There are no additional costs associated with an order, other than shipping. We offer free shipping if you choose registered mail.
 
I'd like to know if the price of item xxx is correct?
Mmmmm.... yes?
 
What does "Plus size" or "Large size" refer to?
These items are sized for fuller-figured women.
 
I'm worried my kids will open my mail.
The best shipping option is Speed Services to your nearest post office. That way we send you a tracking number, and you can collect the package at your convenience with no fear of it falling in the wrong hands.
 
I'm getting married on Saturday and I need a corset that fits like a glove.
Oh boy. Aside from the fact that we might not have one in stock, buying something this crucial for your big day without having tried it on is unwise. We often get last-minute requests for items that customers simply cannot find anywhere else. We'll try our best to accomodate you, but don't stop searching in your local department stores.
 
I saw an item on your site last week or last month, and now it's gone!
As our stock changes you will notice items being added to, and removed from the site all the time. We only offer what we can deliver immediately. It simply means we're out of stock of that item. Drop us an email, so we'll know there is interest in the item, then we'll make sure to stock up on it.
 
Are you interested in advertising in/on our ...?
Probably not. We receive several such requests every day. There are literally hundreds of internet-based companies out there fighting to get companies like ours to advertise with them. All of them make wonderfull promises, but at the end of the day they're mostly either a waste of time or money. Sorry.
 
Why do you have a minimum order amount of R200 ?
Unfortunately not having this policy often results in rediculously small orders. We offer free delivery to postal addresses. If we receive a R50 order, or perhaps even less, the cost of the postage and packaging almost already exceeds the cost of the item! It's simply not cost effective for us to ship orders for small amounts.
